Student: Sir, What is the significance of number 108, why we do?
Nalin Sir: Because there are 108 chakras from the base of your spine to your Sahasrara — Crown chakra. If you look at the diagram in your book about the spinal colors, they are exactly 108 dots. They each represent a particular chakra on your spine, which holds your karmic record. So Śri Śri 108 means that the person's kuṇḍalinī enlightenment level, you can say, is 108 chakras. But all of you are at a minimum of Śri Śri 1008. You're all at 1008 chakras minimum and beyond and counting depending on how you develop. So all healers at the KQ Advance level are at a very minimum Śri Śri 1008. Śri means beautiful, all auspicious, all opulent. So all opulences of 1008 chakras.
Student: So when we . . . (indistinct) . . . 108 mala . . .
Nalin Sir: Yah, because it has to do with your chakras in the spine. That is the basic representation. Then there are other significances of 108, but the basic is the 108 chakras in your spine that represent your binding karma. So if you heal those 108 chakra contents that bind you to appear in the material universe, then you are free. Then you travel anywhere. Then you go wherever you need to go.
